Terms of Service
Last updated July 18, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this site and your purchase of plans and related products from Stor-Mor Portable Buildings, LLC (“Stor-Mor”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. What we sell
We sell engineered building documents for portable buildings, and a small number of related hardware items. Depending on the product, a purchase may be delivered as:
- A digital PDF — downloadable from your order page.
- A wet-stamped physical copy — printed, signed and sealed by a licensed professional engineer, and mailed to the address on your order. Wet-stamped plans are mailed within the United States only.
- Hardware — physical goods shipped to the address on your order.
Some plans are offered at no charge. Free plans are provided under the same license and disclaimers as paid plans.
2. Orders tied to a Stor-Mor building
Most plans are sold against a specific building. To buy them you supply the order or serial number from your Stor-Mor paperwork, and we look it up in Stor-Mor’s records to identify the model, size, and delivery state. The plans you are then offered are the ones that correspond to that building.
If you do not have a Stor-Mor order number — for example, your building came from another builder, or you need a drawing before ordering — you can request a quote instead, and our office will price the work and send you a quote to accept or decline.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close an account that is being used in breach of these Terms.
4. Prices, tax, and payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and exclude sales tax. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the billing address you provide and is added to your total.
Card payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s hosted checkout page. We never receive or store your full card number. Your order is confirmed when Stripe confirms the payment; until then the order stays in an awaiting-payment state.
We may correct pricing errors and cancel an affected order before it is fulfilled, refunding anything already charged.
5. Delivery and turnaround
Digital plans that already exist in our library are made available for download as soon as your order is confirmed. Plans that must be prepared or stamped by an engineer are produced after payment; the target turnaround for those is shown on the product and on your order page. Turnaround targets are estimates, not guarantees.
For mailed items you are responsible for giving us a correct, complete mailing address. We are not responsible for delays or loss caused by an incorrect address.
6. License to use the plans
Subject to payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the plans you purchase for the single building they were prepared for, at the site you identified, including submitting them to your local permitting authority.
You may not:
- reuse the plans for a second building, or for a different site or jurisdiction than the one they were prepared for;
- resell, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the plans, in whole or in part;
- alter the drawings, or remove or obscure any engineer’s seal, signature, title block, or copyright notice;
- represent an altered document as an engineered or sealed drawing.
We retain all copyright and other intellectual property rights in the plans, drawings, and site content. Altering a sealed drawing voids it and may violate the engineering-practice laws of your state.
7. Engineering scope and your responsibilities
Plans are prepared from the building model, size, and location associated with your order, and from any additional information you give us. They are only as accurate as that information.
Building codes, permit requirements, and local amendments vary by jurisdiction and change over time. You are responsible for confirming that the plans satisfy the requirements of your specific permitting authority, and for obtaining any permits and inspections. We do not guarantee that a given authority will accept a set of plans, and a permit rejection based on local amendments or site-specific conditions is not by itself a defect in the plans.
Plans do not cover site conditions we have not assessed — including soil bearing capacity, drainage, flood zones, and existing structures — unless expressly stated. Nothing on this site is a substitute for a site-specific evaluation where one is required.
If your permitting authority identifies something in our documents that needs correcting, contact us. We will work with you to resolve issues attributable to our work.
8. Refunds
Refunds and returns are governed by our Refunds & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, other customers’ orders, or our systems; do not scrape or bulk-download our catalog or drawings; and do not use the site to break the law.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Except as expressly stated in these Terms and as required by law, the site and the products are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order, and we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, construction delays, or permitting costs.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some states do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version in effect when you place an order governs that order. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Contact
